ARISTOTLE courtesy web
The weaker are always anxious for justice and equality.
The strong pay no heed to either.
Aristotle
Western philosophy is indebted to Aristotle as it is indebted to Socretes and Plato. Aristotle was the first to create a comprehensive system of philosophy, encompassing morality and aesthetics, logic and science, politics and metaphysics.
But here in the above thought, in a sense, he seems standing on a weaker ground while labeling the weaker section of the society as a complete helpless class.
Yes, the weaker are anxious, no doubt about it, for getting justice and equality. But the stronger cannot keep avoiding them for longer. See the Jewish people. They were weaker for cneturies, from the days of Roam to the days of Turks and Arabs. But today, the Israelis are no less stronger than any other class of humans. Perhaps the long supression have made them so determined and strong.
