A good post written with a touch of humour but reveals the secret of happy married life.
You have written..."Till today I can’t understand that the simple tasks like cooking for two, washing the floor once in a week, and using a washing machine twice in a week could be so costly. Had I done these " Had you done this you would have made this simple by eating out oreating  bread and noodles.You would have missed the luxuries of yyour wifes tasty dishes.

Well that is why  they say that marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence! But they also say that man is better off than a woman; he marries later and dies sooner. So there is some recompense, afterall!

Naval,
I am married for longer than you and absoloutely endorse the role of the wife in happiness of the man.. the trick also is in appreciating how the wife deals withyour deficiencies which in my case exceed hers by a multiple of..........
